Gain Reduction Meters

The Input meter can be switched to show Gain Reduction metering for the processed signal from 0 dB to –36 dB.

The Gain Reduction meters are usually displayed in yellow. When the Knee setting for either or both the Expander and the Compressor is greater than 0 dB, the Gain Reduction meter displays the amount of the Knee level in amber over the meter’s usual yellow display.

To toggle between the Gain Reduction and Input meters:

Click the Input/Gain Reduction toggle in the top right-hand corner of the Input section.
